According to Wabetanifo, "It appears that WhatsApp now intends to offer iOS users the same opportunity to add audio clips to their status updates as it already does for the Android version, aiming to provide a consistent experience across both platforms. Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 25.1.10.73 update, which is available on TestFlight, we discovered that WhatsApp is rolling out a feature to share music through status updates."
